- My name is Amanda I am 31 years old and I live in newquay in England.
I am recovering from Breast Cancer and gang rape and I give Jesus all the praise and glory for my healing and the contiual daily restoration of my health.
I dont regret one second of my illness as I learnt so much about God and life and I want to shout from the rooftops about the goodness and love of God.
I have been in the modeling industry since the age of 3 where God used in mighty ways to bring His light in a very dark place. I was able to witness to many young girls with drug related problems and anorexia and saw many give their lives to Jesus.
I also have a teaching qualification specialising in Autism
A few years ago I had the honour and privilege of taking a year out and working for British Youth For Christ, I worked in a team of 4 young people in an Anglican parish working in schools and youth clubs, we formed ourselves into a drama group called Candlelight and would tell kids we worked in Jesus' candle making factory and was sent out each day to tell people about Jesus. We also run holiday clubs, trainned youth leaders, preached in Churches in the area and generally did whatever the Chruch wanted us to do. It was an amazing year and we saw many young people come to know Jesus in a real and personal way.
I am a methodist local preacher and I love sharing my faith with others and telling people what Jesus has done for me, I especially love leading family services and I love working with children and use visual aids in a inspiring and fun way.
I am in a wonderful long term relationship with a wonderful man of God Who God has blessed me with. God is preparing us for full time christian work together and He is building a very strong foundation and we both just want to be together and see our saviour glorified and souls won for His kingdom
- Testimony / What Point did you know or search for GOD/ Do you feel tired of you old life, why?
- I remember as a young child my father always saying to me it doesn't matter what we have materially as long as we are happy as a family that's what is important, so I thought at the age of 11 happiness is the key so i must seek this. Unfortunately I looked in the wrong places, I got involved in drug and minor crime to pay for the drugs I was using, but the more i got involved in these things the worse I felt inside to the point where I tried to take my own life and ended up on a life support machine in hospital.
When I got out of hospital my outlook changed I realised those things didn't fulfill me, I became I recluse, I cut myself off from the outside world, I would go to school come home, lock myself in my bedroom and that became my life.
A few months later I ended up in hospital again this time with a serious skin illness, this was when i came in contact with a young church of scotland minister from the village I lived in, he would visit me and tell me all about this guy called Jesus who loves me so much and could forgive the things I had done, I thought he was crazy and would laugh in his face and tell him to get lost, but day after day he would visit and say the same. One day he visited and said Amanda God is a healing God and can heal you of your illness, again i told him he was mad and told him to go, but everyday he would ask, to the point i said look just pray for me anything to shut you up, so he did then he left and I didn't think anything of it. The next morning I woke up to find nothing wrong with me, not a mark on my body, the doctors couldn't believe it but I was healed.
I got out of hospital, I still didn't believe my healing was to do with Jesus (even though it was ) but seeds were planted in my life and I started attending a church youth group. A holiday was planned to a christian island called Iona we thought we was going for a week for parties lol so when we got there to find a row of houses and an abbey we were shocked and wanted to leave but the ferry only sailed once a day so we were stuck there lol. Iona abbey is magnetic once inside you dont want to leave, it was Easter so special meetings were planned and there was a speaker called Dave Pope and be started saying all the things the minister had said to me when I was in hospital that Jesus loved me and died for me, he said if anybody wanted to accept Jesus in their lives to come forward, I got scared and went to run out of the abbey but before I knew it I was sitting in front of the guy, I dont know how my legs took me in the opposite direction but they did, then Dave started to pray and again I got scared i tried to go but it was like I was stuck to the chair with super glue, then he prayed again but this time was different I felt a peace I had never experinced before and realised from that moment I had found the happiness I had been searching for and that happines was in Jesus.
From that day on I have lived to serve my Jesus, it hasnt been easy, its been an uphill struggle going through a horrific gang rape and then breast cancer but through all this Jesus has remained faithful and has never let me down, He told all my hurt and pain, He wept with me, He rejoiced with me and He provided all my needs and I just want to shout from the rooftops about the goodness and love of my precious Jesus.

- God is my everything and He has made my life complete and I just want to share His love with others because He has done so much for me.
