A PLACE FOR LOVE HEALING AND SUPPORT

are we supposed to forgive everyone that has done us wrong... Do we have things even though we are christians that we still hold onto. Is it comfortable for us to hold on to not liking someone. If someone Cheated or beat us are we supposed to just let it go or should we pray that god hurts them? What does god expect from us about forgiveness? What does the bible say... really dig deep because we all can be set free if we face the truth... there are some people that dont like somone because of color, sex, age, religion, backround , wealth status.... there are some of us that have been ran into the ground by someone and we carry that anger and burden with us to this day.

Here is a scripture about forgiveness...

So if we are to be forgiven than we must forgive but how can this become easier to do.. is there other scriptures or experiences that we can share. My mom always said is hating someone worth you salvation.

My Father (a minister) done alot of things to me and my siblings growing up he was a very angry bitter person I felt at times like he hated that we were born and everytime he hit us I felt like he wanted to kill us. In return I grew up very angry and had a hard time trusting anyone. I was actually scared of people... I would hide under the table if someone came to visit. I carried this anger for most of my life. I didnt do it on purpose but it was just there. As I got older my temper got me in alot of fights. It not that I purposely carried any hatred toward my father like I said it was just there. I would say I carried confusion, like how could someone hate his own flesh so much.... It was when I got older that I wanted to know what made my father this way. I realized that he had been abused hiself and just carried it on to us. That did not make it right but I still loved him and instead of me wanting him to die which at one point I did god softened my heart and I looked for understanding. God revealed to me that I needed to forgive him. I loved my father but I did not forgive him. I didnt know this was possible to love but not forgive but god showed me that is what I did. I loved him because he was my father and took out my anger on everyone else. I struggled forgiving my father because I felt as though he didnt deserve forgiveness for what he had done but then GOD revealed to me through my anger I offended many people and hurt many people which were my friends family and strangers teachers coaches...... and I asked for forgiveness and I accepted Jesus so I felt as though I deserved forgiveness because it said in gods word that jesus washes away our sins... God revealed to me that my father carried his burdens and pain from his past and didnt forgive himself or the people that hurt him and he hurt us in return and I actually felt sorrow for my father I know what he had done was wrong but that pain and unforgiveness stole his victory and thourgh that I was able to forgive my father and now we actually have peace with one another and let me tell you it feel good to call home and not want to jump through the phone and strangle him when he answers because it would put me in a bad mood all day and it affected my own family.

We should not carry guilt after we are forgiven we should repent and turn away from that sin or situation but we shouldnt condemn ourself... that is not from god Jesus came not to condemn but to give us life and life more abundantly NOW THATS LOVE

"What happiness for those whose guilt has been forgiven! What joys when sins are covered over! What relief for those who have confessed their sins and God has cleared their record. There was a time when I wouldn't admit what a sinner I was. But my dishonesty made me miserable and filled my days with frustration. All day and all night Your hand was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water on a sunny day until I finally admitted all my sins to You and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, 'I will confess them to the Lord.' And You forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Now I say that each believer should confess his sins to God when he is aware of them, while there is time to be forgiven. Judgment will not touch him if he does. You are my hiding place from every storm of life; You even keep me from getting into trouble! You surround me with songs of victory." Psalm 32:1-6, TLB5

I use to make mistakes and just think wow I messed up God is so mad at me he is so dissappointed with me. I put myself down to the point that I didnt want to goto church because I called myself a hyopocrite I stop reading and praying and worst yet I stopped asking for forgiveness. This scripture brought me freedom and a deeper love and understanding.

This is a helpful scripture about forgiveness because god doesnt hold our past against us. The world may want to put you in a category for the rest of your life but it is so wonderful to know that god forgive and forgets our past

"For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us." Psalm 103:11-12, NIV

god has showed me so much over the years. BEWARE OF RELIGOUS PEOPLE THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT LOVE THE LORD AND HAVE UNDERSTANDING AND PEOPLE THAT ARE TOO RELIGOUS

Religous people are the one that are very judgemental put you under a microscope watch you and wait for you to fall.... The ones that make you feel like you are not worthy... OR embarrased of who you are or what you done. The people that whispered behing Jesus back and said he is sitting with sinners

There are alot of people that dont go back to church because of that attitude the bible says confess our sins one to another... and we should help eachother with encouraging words or godly advice.

They dont forgive you for falling... They lead you to a path of self condemnation that makes you seperate from the lord .

Ask GOD to forgive you for your sins... That is why he sent his son Jesus to die for our sins so he loves us and wants to help us and save us

SO LET GO of the shame that keeps you from going to church or praying for reading or most of all talking to god.

The story of the prodigal son is a son that was in the kingdom his fathers house god his gift or salvation and went out into the world living any kind of way got so messed up he was eating with pigs in dirt... he thought I can go home my father has so much and he got over being ashamed and went home and his dad was not dissappointed in him His dad had a feast becasue he came home... and the same way in heaven when a sinner turns to god and comes home.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
(Luke 6:35-37)

WOW He is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil ! Actually I just found this scripture and it is so helpful. Think about this

Think about how many times we take god for granite how many times we ask but dont say thank you when he gives or how many time we talk to him only when we need something . Or when he tells us not to do something because he loves us and when there is something that we want we forget what he told us about that particular thing (children/parents) how many times he does for us and we dont even notice... WOW

think about this have you ever had a friend that only calls when they want something. Have you ever gave to help someone and they didnt even seem thankful. Have you ever listen to someones problems and try to help only to find out later that they blame you think along those lines and how it makes us feel...

We do it to the lord all the time and he doesnt hold it against us he is still kind and merciful so since our Father in Heaven treats us this way we are to treat others the same.

Dont help someone and expect a big WOW YOUR THE GREATEST THAT EVERY LIVED PRAISE SPEACH just know we are fulfilling gods will and our treasure in heaven is our reward not the reward on earth.

How do we feel when we tell our children right from wrong and they seem like they listen and soon as they are on their own they disobey and it makes us angry....

I almost call them every name in the book lol but this is so helpful forgiveness is the key we walk in grace... and with grace comes forgiveness so we should walk in forgiveness and love is that now what jesus did he didnt come to condemn us he came to help us and bring us life and life more abundantly

Unforgiveness is a stronghold used by the enemy to hold us in bondage. I was in my own prison of unforgiveness for years. I had said I forgave and even convinced myself that I had but it would weed it's way through and back to my mind. That's how I knew I really hadn't forgiven. I talked the talk and walked the walk but it was still in my heart. I prayed for God to help me. Pleaded with Jesus to help let me. I had to be delivered from this stronghold. It was as if there was a spiritual hold that I needed to be delivered from. Something that just through normal prayer didn't leave me. I had to be prayed for by others. I prayed in my spiritual langauge while others prayed for me and I felt a huge release and a horrible cry came out of me that sounded awful. I layed on the ground for awhile unable to move. I knew what ever that stronghold was is gone. I felt joy and freedom. Now I know my heart has been healed from that situation of unforgiveness. Jesus is our healer, our deliverer, our light in the darkness!! His Grace is forever abounding and His mercy endures forever!!! Asking for prayer from other strong women and men in Christ helped me because I felt I had tried everything and still wasn't able to break through. It was through many prayers by prayer warriors that helped my deliverance. God knew what I needed when I needed it and I just went with the flow of the Holy Spirit and grace from our Lord Jesus Christ. He SAVES!!!

JESUS SAYS THAT IF WE DON'T FORGIVE OTHERS OF THERE WRONG DOING, WHEITHER IT BE IN WORDS OR ACTIONS THAT THEY MAY HAVE DONE TOWARD US, HE WOULD NOT FORGIVE US OF THE THINGS WE SAY AND DO WRONG, UNFORGIVENESS, WILL HINDER OUR WALK WITH GOD, WHEN WE HAVE A HARD TIME WITH FORGIVENESS WE CAN ASK JESUS TO HELP US TO LOVE THE UNLOVELY, HELP US TO TOUCH, THE UNTOUCHABLES, AND HE WILL, HE HAS HELP ME IN MY LIFE WITH THIS, WAS IT EASY, NO! BUT, IT WAS WORTHY IT FOR THE SAKE OF MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MY LORD. THE MORE WE YEILD TO THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR LIVES, THE EASYER IT IS TO OBEY HIM, IM NOT PERFECT, BUT, IM STRIVING IN WALK TO PLEASING TO HIM.
